CAPOEIRA

 

Capoeira is a unique sport and martial art where each individual can use it to their aims and interests in life. As a fitness class Capoeira burns more than 500 calories an hour and you will be too busy enjoying the class to notice the hard work. However, Capoeira is much more than just a fitness class, it offers a lifestyle and community which are a huge part of our sport. Aside from weekly classes we attend Capoeira events in NY and abroad and with such a wide network of Capoeira groups most of our students have travelled extensively, met new friends, seen other cultures and learned more Capoeira. However, any capoeirista will tell you that the most exciting bit is actually playing Capoeira - come and try for yourself!
